Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit vektor.international. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

Who we are

The data controller is PT Vektor Inovasi Sistem Indonesia, trading as Vektor International, a company registered in Indonesia with its registered office at Jl. RP. Soeroso No.20 9, RT.9/RW.5, Cikini, Kec. Menteng, Kota Jakarta Pusat, Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta 10330.

What we collect

This is a marketing website. There is no account system, no login, no newsletter signup and no contact form. We do not ask you for your name, your email address, or any other personal detail, and there is nowhere on this site to submit one.

Two things do produce data:

1. Server logs

Our web server records standard request logs — IP address, timestamp, the URL requested, HTTP status, user agent and referring URL. These are used to operate the site, diagnose faults and detect abuse. They are rotated and discarded on a rolling basis and are not used to build any profile of you.

2. Google Analytics 4 — and what happens before you agree

We use Google Analytics 4, configured with Google's advanced consent mode. We want to be precise about what that means, because it is not “nothing happens until you click accept”.

The Google Analytics script loads when the page does, and starts in a denied state. While it is denied — before you choose, and permanently if you decline — it sends Google a minimal, anonymous signal for each page view containing only:

  • The time of the request, your user agent, and the referring URL.
  • A randomly generated page-load number, which is discarded and never links one visit to another.
  • A flag recording that consent is currently denied, and whether ad-click parameters were present in the URL.

In that state it writes no cookies, reads no existing cookies, and sends no identifier — nothing that could single you out or connect today's visit to your next one. Google uses these anonymous signals to estimate overall traffic from visitors who have not consented. Your IP address reaches Google's servers as it does for any request to any third party, and IP anonymisation is enabled.

On your first visit a banner asks whether we may measure your visit properly. Declining is a single click, exactly like accepting. We do not ask again on every page, we do not treat closing or scrolling past the banner as agreement, and the site works identically either way.

If you would rather nothing at all were sent, any content blocker stops the script from loading in the first place — we make no attempt to defeat them.

Once you accept, Google Analytics 4 additionally collects:

  • Approximate location — country, region and city, derived from your IP address. IP anonymisation is enabled, so your full IP address is not stored by Google Analytics.
  • Device and browser — device category, operating system, browser, screen resolution and language.
  • Referrer — the site, search engine or campaign that sent you here.
  • Behaviour on the site — pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth and outbound link clicks.

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_<container-id> containing a randomly generated identifier. They are used to tell a returning visit from a new one. They expire two years after they are last set. We do not use Google Signals, we do not link this property to Google Ads, and we do not use the data for advertising or remarketing.

Accordingly, the advertising consent signals ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are held permanently denied — accepting the banner grants analytics_storage and nothing else. We cannot enable advertising signals later without changing this page and asking you again. We also set ads_data_redaction, which strips ad-click identifiers from requests to Google, and we do not enable url_passthrough, which would append advertising parameters to links you click.

3. Remembering your choice

Your answer to the banner is stored in your browser's local storage under the key vektor_consent_v1. It holds one word — granted or denied — is never sent to us or to anyone else, and exists solely so we do not ask you on every page. It is strictly necessary for honouring your choice, so it is set whichever way you answer.

To change your mind, use Cookie settings in the footer of any page. That revokes consent immediately and brings the banner back. Clearing your browser storage for this site has the same effect.

Google acts as our processor for this data. Google's own handling is governed by its privacy policy.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
  • We do not run advertising or remarketing pixels.
  • We do not use the data to identify you personally, and we make no attempt to link analytics data to a named individual.

Third-party content

The homepage loads web fonts from Google Fonts and a background video from Amazon S3. Making those requests discloses your IP address to Google and Amazon Web Services respectively, as it would for any externally hosted asset. Links to our portfolio companies — TrendSense, Rinci.io, CentaurOps and AquaData — lead to separate sites with their own privacy policies, which this one does not cover.

Opting out

You can prevent analytics collection in any of these ways:

  • Choose Decline on the banner, or use Cookie settings in the footer at any time. This prevents any cookie or identifier, though as described above the anonymous page-view signal continues.
  • To stop even that, block the script — see the two options below. That is the only way to send Google nothing whatsoever, and we would rather say so than imply the banner does more than it does.
  • Install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Block cookies for this site, or use your browser's private browsing mode.
  • Use any standard content blocker — we do not attempt to defeat them.

Your rights

Under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 of 2022), and under the GDPR if you are in the European Economic Area, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to its processing, or ask for it in a portable form. Email ekki@vektor.international and we will respond within 30 days. In practice we hold very little that could identify you, and we will tell you honestly what we have.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
